Dash hired M'labs to design its identity, web and mobile app user experience designs. Dash aimed to create a new and better mobile dialog between individuals and corporations. To achieve this Dash introduced a platform for OTT (Over-The-Top) messaging that is seamlessly integrated with existing SMS messaging technology and SMS Gateway providers.
Together with the Dash team, we researched end-users habits and usage patterns. We learned that 78% of the users we researched are much more likely to install a new app if recommended by a corporation or institution they already have a relantionship with. This and other user research studies (e.g. whatsapp and snapchat usage patterns) drove our design decisions, resulting in the successful delivery and subsequent implementation of the dash web and mobile experiences.
