In january 2015 we started with the work to make new websites for Design Region Bergen (DRB). DRB is the member organisation of the design cluster in Bergen, and it includes DesignArena and Raff Design Week. DRB needed three different websites with their own identities but with a certain connection between them.

For this project we created our own way to work, taking our favourite parts from lean thinking, design thinking and lean UX. We created iterations that lasted 1-2 weeks where we focused on specific tasks and problems in each iterations, e.g. users in one iteration, wireframes in the next, etc. After these iterations, the implementation phase started, where the UX designer worked closely with the developers, overseeing the design implementation and making sure that the users and clients’ needs were taken into account.

By using a people-centered approach and identifying needs and desires along the way, the websites were successfully launched by the fall of 2015. Our partner for this project was Keyteq.
